Okay guys so in my last post tripled the views on my page!!!:-)) so THANK YOU to all of you for reading, Ive just have confirmation that my blog is been read in America and Australia as well as Europe which just amazes me, Im so glad you's are enjoying it!

Following on from my last blog I went through some extremely simple exercises to try and help get through problems or issues in our lives that we all experience in life that niggle and annoy us.
Now I myself will do these repeatedly until I feel better about a certain situation and my spirits are lifted again, but one thing I forgot to mention which maybe the reason if the exercises didn't really work for you is sometimes there is no solution that you can see at this current moment to the problem,  realistically sometimes in life there are things that are out of your control. In situations like this the only real thing you can do is accept your current situation, I know this is going to sound ludicrous if your in millions of pounds worth of debt or so unhappy it a particular job or whatever the circumstance you feel like theres no way I'm excepting this!I WANT OUT!!!

Unfortunately the only thing that does really is draw more of what your don't what to you.Have you ever heard the saying? Whatever you resist will persist. Now that is not to say that if you said no way am I accepting this I'm going to fight for what i want to achieve that it may not eventually work but you will have an more severe up hill battle then if you accepted and kept your eyes open for a solution.

Life is not hard and do not let yourself believe otherwise, look at gravity, look at how the grass grows and the seasons turn, this all happens with ease and just as it is meant to, remember your part of this world it just as much as nature is this may be hard to comprehend but your are as such you are meant to live with ease. The easiest way to find a solution to the problem in your life is to first of all accept that you have it and try to see the plus sides to it if there is any, but at the same time always keep your eyes open for an opportunity which may just pop up out of nowhere because life has a funny way of giving you something good when you least expect it.

The main problem with not accepting a situation or occurrence or anything about your life as it is, is if your are sitting there trying to find a way out of it and constantly fighting against it this also means that you are fighting constantly against your actual life and against the universe against the natural flow of things on this earth. If you could just accept that things are the way they are at this current moment because that is the way they were meant to be whilst having and untouchable faith that it would be solved just at the right time for you that is exactly what will happen.

Let me give an example I had worked in retail on and off for the last ten years when I decided to move to London, on moving to London I took a retail job as it was easy to transfer with my current company now I was very grateful for the job I received and can honestly say it was one of the most memorable experiences I've ever had. I worked hard although it never felt like it as I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. But all the while in the back of my mind I had this burning desire to try a new career  using some of the skills I had learned in college and possibility so new ones. I really wanted to challenge myself with something new. Before I moved over I had gave up wishing that I could have a different job and started to really appreciate the things I loved about retail and how I had a natural flare for styling etc,. I the took a retail job in London with ease and was truly grateful for it then out of nowhere through my job I was introduced to a lady who worked in the area i was keen to get into. On chatting to her I offered to do work experience for free even just for me to get some experience in it  as it was related to my degree,  I just hadn't had the opportunity to get real high quality experience in it before this.

Surprisingly this plan proceeded namely due to the Kindness of this lady for which i am truly grateful and I now have my dream job. Looking back I worked like 6 days a week for the last 6 months too get a start in this career but because i loved it so it seemed like little effort was needed now I absolutely love my job, love what I do and love my work mates. The point I am making is no matter where you are now no matter where you want to be  IT IS POSSIBLE to get there but what you need to do is accept where you are NOW!

Accept the situation as it is! Because it is as it should be but do not seize in dreaming and picturing how amazing things will be when things change to the way you want them to be, picture yourself driving that Porshe but appreciate your Fiat!;-)

Hope you take something from this!

Lots love Annie

Keep your head UP When your feeling down!!;-)xxx

Thank you to very one who has viewed my page I can't actually believe I have over a thousand readers so I seen this post on my friends page (Thanks Angi ;-)x ) earlier this evening and to be honest had been trying to do this myself all evening!!!

This time of year can bring with it joy and excitement but it can also bring sadness and ebs of lows not to mention colds etc mainly due to the weather, maybe thats the irish in me though we always blame the weather lol! Anyway the past few days I have been feeling really ill due to a sick tummy and this obviously has a knock on effect on my mood now I am relatively always positive and happy well the majority of the time no one is ever happy 110% of the time remember that!! it helps!NO ONE IS EVER ALWAYS HAPPY but there are mental exercises you can do to get you close to it!!;-)

So today after a few days of feeling like this this I decided to try and think my way out of it completely, I had been trying to do this the last few days so maybe it was the general effect of my continued positive thinking it but i feel like its worked so I'm going to share this simple practice with you.

I completed a book a few years ago that described one of the best ways to find happiness is to be silent and still, now on reading it originally I thought NOOOO how is that going to make me happy surely I should go out meet my friends, go for a few drinks or do something fun thats the only way I'l really cheer myself up and find happiness, now I'm not for one second saying that you shouldn't do that of course you should I do it as much as I can. What I am saying though is that there is a time for going out and having fun and what I've come to understand is there is a time for being silent.

I can imagine at this stage your thinking about stopping reading and that this isn't for me, this inner peace malarkey etc well whats that saying don't knock tip you've tried it!!! So in this book it had suggested taking at least half an hour to be silent a day to let your thoughts wonder, that this alone without even progressing into higher state of meditation would help your general well being.W el I'm unsure if its the fact the I've moved to one of the busiest most populated cities in the world that has made me more drawn to this or the fact that i have progressed some what in my judgement of anything before trying it but I'm doing it and its working. This evening I ran myself a steaming hot bath and lit some candles before getting into it, I find this is the easiest time for me to simply sit and be silent so of course if you try this after getting in your mind starts going crazy because your trying not to think! all the fears and anxieties start to rise from the depths of your mind NOW this is the time to act, one by one you need to pick every fear, hurt and problem as you see it in your life and find a solution to it, you may be thinking thats ridiculous  I can't find a solution to it if there was a solution I wouldn't be worried. So okay if 100,000 in debt you might not be able to find a solution to it straight away but you will be able to pull yourself back from the general anxiety and fear of the situation.

This method can be used for any hurt from you past, fear for your future or general ongoing problem in your life, I'm talking about the relationship that didn't work out, the job you didn't get, how much you miss someone and are completely struck by grief, whatever it is, you need to sit down and think of a solution to that problem, see as many sliver linings on the issue that you can and keep listing until you've out completely stop focusing on the issues themselves and start focusing on the sliver linings. Do this as much as you can you can use a notebook if it helps so write down your issue/problem or mentally in your head and cross it out then start thinking of the good things to come out of it.

So for example if your anxious or grieving because you miss someone due to them passing away or otherwise just not been in your life anymore try and they of all the good thats come out of the situation, all the friends you've made, all the love you've been shown, how strong it has made you, how much it has changed you for the better..... etc

Or  just say for example and I'm trying to think severely here that you are 300,000 in debt okay i can imagine your head i completely recked your stomach is sick with anxiety due to your solar plexus which i spoke about it my last blog.1 i would think of all the good things to come out out it like the fact that you will have compassion for anyone going through a similar situation. 2 It may show you who your real friends are i.e. if you express your worries to them  (which you need to, to release them from your body) 3 You should think about all the good things you have in your life the love of your family etc. Now if all that fails think of the worst scenario that could ever happen from the situation more than likely in this scenario you'd call of r bankruptcy and would be fine but in every situation think of the worst outcome you won't die you'l still have money to eat etc.

-Hope you take something from this

Go with your gut or listen to your heart???

Thank you to everyone reading my blog over 500 people viewed my last post on living a happy successful life i just can't believe it!!!:-)

Anyway so today on my way home from work I was trying to advice one of my friends on a difficult situation in her life, now I've always quite weary about giving people advice i know you wouldn't think it lol!;-) I am always quite passive about it and usually just turn the question asked back on the person asking it, because I believe that we all know the solution deep down in our hearts to our problems in our own lives. Sometimes we can't see it until we really think about it, or sometimes it just feels easier to ignore the problem and continue in how we are dealing with it at the time, even if its getting us no where and nothing is been solved.

Ive known this for a while lets face it the saying trust your gut has been around for centuries and the quote go with your heart is a common answer to relationship problems. Im not saying that it is a bad thing to ask advice or that we don't need to from time to time. This can actually really help you make up your mind because lets face it if its really good advice it'll only strengthen your original decision and if its bad it'l send us packing to the good decision.

I believe that we really have a gut instinct for what is right for us our soul actually knows and is just crying out for us to listen.Last year moving to London I have never experienced anything like the turmoil my body went through to actually get me to move I had this as you call it gut instinct for ages, now there was nothing wrong in my life I loved where I lived, had a great friends and family all around me, a good job, a nice car etc but my gut wouldn't let up until i listened  to it!!I eventually  started to realise that I wanted to move out of Ireland thats what my soul and been trying to tell me all along, it was so obvious when I realised. If I talked to friends about it if they said it wasn't a good idea my stomach would actually turn because I knew they were wrong. I recently learned the reason behind this and probably where the saying originated is because of your solar plexus in your body.

Wikipedia describes it as The celiac plexus or coeliac plexus, also known as the solar plexus because of its radiating nerve fibers,[1] is a complex network of nerves (a nerve plexus) located in the abdomen, where the celiac trunksuperior mesenteric artery, and renal arteries branch from the abdominal aorta. It is behind the stomach and the omental bursa, and in front of thecrura of the diaphragm, on the level of the first lumbar vertebra.

Your Solar plexus is basically linked directly to your heart so really both sayings are true as if your going with your gut your also going with your heart.Your body had two kinds of sensations one of comfort and one of discomfort, im sure we can all relate to this.If at each moment you consciously make a choice , pay attention to your body  and ask your body if i make this choice and say "yes"what happens similarly if i make this choice and say "no" what happens. If your body sends you a message of discomfort its the wrong choice if it sends you a message of comfort its the right one, now your not just join to notice this straight away it has taken me a long time to be able to actually differentiate the sensation but with practice you will learn to recognise it.

For some people this sensation will come from their solar plexus for others it will come from there heart but one is not more right than the other. SO next time you make a decision consciously put your attention on your heart or your tummy and wait for a response it may be the faintest level of feeling but it will be their your inner light, instinct, soul, gods voice whatever you want to call it is guiding you if you let.

Hope you enjoyed the read and took something from it

Lots of love Annie Xxx

LIving A Happy Successful Life!!:-)

So I suppose sometimes living life in this day and age can seem hard we are in a society which can sometimes place a lot of emphasis on money, power and titles, who you are and what you are but not in the personal sense of the word more like how many people you control and what kind of car you drive.Im not for one second saying its not a good thing to have a good job, I'm simply saying there is more to life so don't get down in the dumps over not having a lot of what we see tend to see as our ultimate life achievements i.e. a nice car, house, a lot of money in your bank account etc.

I have friends of every age ranging from 18-70 who don't know where their life is going and the truth is no one has it all figured out, even the celebrities that look like they have the perfect lives from the outside, although it may not seem it they have just as many problems.Material wealth is only one component of a good life, having material abundance does make your journey more enjoyable but it is not YOUR actual journey! Success in your life includes good health, energy, loving relationships, freedom to express yourself, emotional and psychological stability and a huge sense of self. I know personally been in my twenties that all of my friends agree when we say we don't know where we are going to be in ten years but I have come to the understanding that that is one of the miracles of life.Where we are right now in our lives is exactly where we are meant to be, from someone who used to suffer from anxiety, when i actually started to realise this it was a huge comfort for me, Im not saying I'm completely over and still suffer from the "where am I going" syndrome occasionally like I know we all do, but I can get myself out of it now.

I have a lot of people ask me how I am so positive all the time and how I'm so lucky! The truth is we are all lucky we just need to start seeing it this is the key to living a happy and successful life. We all our blessed with wonderful lives the very fact that we are alive is a blessing in itself we have been given the gift of life but it is up to us as to wether we chose to see this or not.If your start your day complaining you are just setting yourself up for a bad day, a bad day leads into a bad week which can lead into a bad month, year you get the picture....... But if your start your day giving thanks for your bed the roof over your head your breakfast and continue this throughout your day everyday you will eventually have a "good life" I know it can be tough and you may be reading this thinking that is impossible what if something terrible happens like if my car breaks down how can i be grateful and remain in a good mood well there is the old saying every cloud has a sliver lining and its up to you to see it maybe the AA guy who comes to fix your car turns out to be incredibly nice or maybe it stopped you been in the wrong place at the wrong time you just don't no.

One of the simplest ways I've discovered to stay happy is to let go out of your life the things that make you sad.Now I know this is hard and it can be so difficult it always seems so much easier to hold on to what you know, the job you've always done the relationship you've had for a long time etc but if you hold on to these things it will only create negativity in your life. If you only see the things that make you happy, if you only focus on these and work towards them while ignoring the rest you will eventually get that happiness you deserve but it is up too to start living your life in a positive way to attain it.So to sum up there are three key points to living a successful happy life seeing exactly what you have and been grateful for it, not comparing yourself to anyone else and only focusing on the good letting the negative thing in your life go.I hope this gives you a little lift.

Whats the meaning of life?

So obviously this is a question that every single one of us contemplates at some stage in our live, I've come to the understanding that it is simply to Love and to be Loved everything else should come third.

In todays society its all too easy to get consumed by everything else namely the ownership of "things" I myself am guilty of wanting the new Michael Kors bag or penthouse apartment opposite sugar hut.It is easy to forget or not even know what life is really about in the first place, we are brought into this world by loving parents if we are fortunate enough to have them and raised to know right from wrong or at least what they believe to be right and wrong, fast forward a few years and we are teenagers bombarded by media telling us what we need to become and own to be the definition of "perfect".We work really hard to get a high paying job to make money to create this magical life where money is no object and believe THEN we will be happy.

I am not for one second saying that money is bad or that we should not spend money on ourselves , the complete opposite actually you should definitely spend money on yourself as that is a form of loving yourself which is what we were brought in the world for "to be loved" by ourselves and by others.

What I am saying is that money, things or been what the society considers beautiful is NOT everything! Depression and suicide are on the rise and we wonder why, its easy to lose your way in this life forget that we are loved or know that we our loved but feelings of uncertainty, doubt, fear and insecurities should as not feeling good enough can cloud our minds. We need to learn and to teach ourselves to love ourselves and everything about us we are all each one of us a unique powerful entity, there is not and will never be another one of you! Think about this the next time you go to give yourself a hard time and then just don't! think okay I'm ...... and thats fine thats who I and I'm just going to love that about myself.

I am very fortunate to come from a loving immediate and extended family and by extended I mean really loving, kind and supportive friends that I know i will have for life no matter where they are in the world, but even I have been through times in my life where things didn't seem to be going my way and all I could focus on were the negative things.Thankfully I have come through the other side and learned a lot on the way now I've come to appreciate everything that happened to me the good and the as I seen them at the time "bad" things. If you look back on your life and you have resentment towards anything or anyone the only way to really get over it (and believe me you want to, as it will cause you more pain and problems than anyone) is to look at the positive things to come out of that situation, there always is at least one even if its just that going through it helps you to have compassion for people in the same situation now.

What i have learned is to really treat everyone as would like to be treated so that everyone you meet you leave a little bit of your love with them, love is what life is about and thus relationships are what life is all about.Take time today to appreciate every single relationship in your life, they provide you with the opportunity to experience the miracle that is love the most amazing unexplainable thing in this thing we call life!

Hope you take something from this

About me and my blog!!!

Hi everyone!

My name is Ann Marie I'm a 27 year old living in London city, I'm on a journey to discover the best way to live this life, as a teenager I went through the usual difficulties that life throws at us all and came out the other side searching for a guide book for this life.

Needless to say I couldn't find one! But what I did find was a passion for reading which lead me to reading a lot of powerful informative books on every kind of life experience.

Through years of researching, reading, attending life classes, and coaching seminars I have a gained a somewhat general overview of what I believe this life is about and the best way to live it. I in no way claim to have it all figured out, actually I think that's beyond our mere human intelligence but I am still searching every possible avenue available to me to help me create the life of my dreams and hope in sharing my journey and wisdom that you may too.

I hope you all take something from my posts, all feedback is appreciated so feel free to drop me a message if you have any views on what I write or any question's.

I hope you are inspired!
